Three Phase Oil-cooled Servo Voltage Stabilizers are suitable for Medium to Large Capacity loads of 50 - 3000 KVA. These Voltage Stabilizers can be installed at domestic or commercial establishments to provide comprehensive protection to the Whole House / Building / Establishment or individual Equipment or Machines.
Oil-cooled Servo Voltage Stabilizers have more life as compared to Air-cooled Voltage Stabilizers as all the components are submerged in transformer oil which not only increases the cooling of components but also improves their life by protecting them against ambient dust, moisture, humidity, mould, fungus & accidental damage. Oil-cooled Servo Voltage Stabilizers have inherently higher short-time or sustained overload capacity as compared to Air-cooled types.
Same capacity Oil-cooled Servo Voltage Stabilizers have double the life of Air-cooled Servo Voltage Stabilizers. Hence even Small Capacity Servo Voltage Stabilizers of 20 KVA upwards when Oil-cooled, prove to be better value for money for the customer. Oil does not require any change or maintenance and has no recurring cost. Therefore a little extra investment initially turns out to be cheaper in the long run.
Three Phase Servo Voltage Stabilizers are of two kinds - Balanced Mains - Balanced Load (BMBL) Type & Unbalanced Mains - Unbalanced Load (UMUL) Type.
Balanced Mains - Balanced Load means incoming mains on all the three phases should not differ by more than ± 5% and load on the phases should not differ by more than 20%. These Servo Voltage Stabilizers carry out the correction based on any one Reference Phase and are predominantly suitable for Balanced Three Phase Loads such as Pumps, Motors etc. Unbalance in incoming phase voltages is reflected in output voltage as such.
Unbalanced Mains - Unbalanced Load (UMUL) type of Voltage Stabilizer caters to 100% unbalance in incoming mains and 100% unbalance in load on phases. Each phase voltage is individually corrected. It means that even if one or two phases are absent, voltage correction on remaining phases remain unaffected. Thus a true corrected voltage on Output is available at all times and under all circumstances of load variations, These Voltage Stabilizers are most suitable for installations where loads are single phase or three phase or mixed single & three phase. It is the most COMPREHENSIVE type of protection.
